| Your safety and that of other
water users when afloat is paramount. Whilst in the UK you don't
need any qualifications or experience to hire or own a boat we spend
time with you at the start of your hire to ensure that you
understand how to helm the craft safely and can apply the 'rules of
the road' properly. Our safety brief covers: Lifejackets; safety
equipment; where to go in the harbour; the 'collision regulations'
and how to deal with problems afloat.
We then come afloat with you to ensure that you are happy with
how the boat handles. Once we have covered the briefing and spent
time afloat with you if you and we are happy we set you free!
Throughout the hire we are always available on the end of a phone if
needed and our safety boat and crew is available at all times if
needed.
Afloat you have a pack that includes a Boat Manual, Charts of
Poole Harbour and satellite images of the harbour too. Everything
you need for a great and safe day out.
